Television Receiving Systems

A special Russian section of our website deals with television receiving systems. Detailed block diagrams are considered in the section, showing the ways how to construct the systems of Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV), Master Antenna Television (MATV) and Community Antenna Television (CATV). Also an electronic library of the section contains articles “General principles of construction” and “Installation and configuration of antenna systems”, which minutely describe specifics of installation, operation and use of SMATV, MATV, CATV systems. We hope that all the material, published on the website, will help our customers to elaborate a correct concept of television system.

Today, there is a gradual renewal of television receiving systems on the Russian market. It relates to a program of transition from analog television to a digital DVB standard of broadcast in a format of MPEG-4. The program is expected to last to 2015 year. On this reason a demand for television equipment and television systems grows. For the same reason our company is interested in promoting the qualitative and reliable equipment for television reception.

The transition period in the field of television receiving systems gets to lead to a radical replacement of equipment in MATV, SMATV and CATV systems. The only constant element of MATV and SMATV systems remains receiving TV antenna. It can be satellite antenna and off-air TV antenna, including all its sorts. This is explained by the fact that TV antenna can equally receive digital and analog signals. Therefore, we can apply both standard TV antennas and innovative types of aerials. We are talking here about antennas for MATV and SMATV systems.
